5 Facts about LGEF

Here are five things you might not know:

1. ​LGEF started collecting donations in 1983 in response to a state budget crisis which threatened sudden cuts in teaching staff.  LGEF's roots are deep here in Los Gatos!
   
   
2. LGEF is run by a volunteer board of parents drawn from all five schools.
3. Despite what your child says, LGEF does NOT stand for "Let's Go Eat Fries".  It stands for Los Gatos Education Foundation. 
4. LGEF funds supplemental teachers and staff at Blossom Hill, Daves Avenue, Lexington, Van Meter, and R.J. Fisher.

5. LGEF is raising funds now!

To fund all positions -- and add new ones -- we need all families to participate.  Don't count on your neighbor to do it!

Every donation makes a difference and all are appreciated.
