What We Fund
LGEF programs help provide a ​High Quality education for students at Fisher Middle and all four Los Gatos elementary schools. Because LGEF supports extended activities such as music and art, our schools are able to focus on core curriculum and electives.  For 2017-2018 LGEF is funding a total of $550,000 in programs.

LGEF Maker Workshops
LGEF sponsors the popular Maker Workshop series that expose students to hands-on science and engineering.  Here two students shoot a paper airplane from a rocket launcher.

LGEF funds exceptional elementary music education and enables popular middle school electives in Band, Orchestra and Choir.  Learn more about Music.

  2. Funding dedicated Art and Music teachers allows other teachers to focus on core curriculum.
  3. There is no state funding for these programs.  Without LGEF support, these programs would be cancelled.
How does LGEF fit with the Home & School Clubs?

​It takes two great organizations to ensure a great education.  LGEF funds programs at the district level while the Home & School clubs focus on school-specific activities.  Donations to both organizations ensure your children get a High Quality education.
