LGEF provides input to the District from parents regarding current and future LGEF funded programs. Possible sources for input: surveys, focus groups, parent forum results, E2 steering committee, superintendent chats, Taste of Tuscany feedback.

May   LGEF hosts evening Parent Forum to gather information, input and feedback fromparents about current and future LGEF funded programs. District will (as a guest of LGEF) report on current grants/programs and identify multi-year grants.
May   District begins preliminary proposal of future grant requests and identifies Programs that are short-term (1 year) or longer-term (2-3 years) and those that require seed money from LGEF but that the District will eventually fund on their own.
May    District meets with LGEF President and VP of Programs to develop preliminary proposal for grant requests and grant metrics measurements for programs to be fundraised for in the upcoming school year and implemented the following school year.
May     District presents preliminary grant request proposal to the LGEF Executive Committee (EC), gathers input and makes modifications based on EC discussions.
June    District presents preliminary grant requests to the LGEF Board.
June    New LGEF Board Members briefed on draft  grant request proposals at New Board Orientation.
Mid-August    VP of Programs works with District to refine grant requests. LGEF President included as needed.
End of August   District meets with EC to present grant requests and corresponding metrics.
September   District presents grant requests and grant metrics to LGEF Board at first meeting (not a Q&A session).
In between Sept.  and Oct. Board Meetings     LGEF hosts evening parent Forum to present District’s grant proposal  for the programs to be fundraised for that year. Feedback, Q&A session welcome with input to the LGEF Board before the October grant approval vote.
In between Sept.
and Oct. Board Meetings  
  LGEF Board Q&A session with District regarding grant requests, organized and facilitated by VP of Programs.
October    LGEF Board votes on grant requests.  Funds will be raised for these grants during the current year, and the programs will be implemented the following year.
Quarterly   District reports to LGEF Board about the current academic year Programs funded by LGEF. District reviews measurements and on-going evaluation of each program grant in place for the current academic year.
